    The valley's tap water has 280 ppm total hardness. As water evaporates, calcium builds up on the tile line and inside heaters.

  • Summer heat and evaporation

    SNWA says a typical 470 square foot pool can lose up to 22,842 gallons a year. Topping up with hard water adds more calcium.

  • Monsoon debris

    July and August storms blow heavy dust into Sunrise Manor. We remove the leaves, clear the baskets and rebalance the water.
