Serving the growingSouthwest valley area

The unincorporated town of Enterprise covers sixty-seven square miles in the southwest valley. Homes here use the same hard municipal water as the rest of the region. We test your water weekly and add routine chemicals based on the readings.

With July averages reaching 104 degrees, your pool loses a large amount of water. An average in-ground pool loses 48.6 gallons per square foot each year to evaporation. Topping up with hard tap water raises the mineral concentration.

For new construction or renovations, we follow Southern Nevada rules. Any new residential single-family pool or spa permitted after September 1, 2022 is limited to 600 square feet of combined surface area.

Local challenges forSouthwest valley pools

Our service checks monitor the effects of intense heat, wind and hard tap water.

  • Heavy calcium buildup

The hard tap water leaves a white line of calcium scale on your tile and in your heat pump.

  • Summer evaporation

Hot weather draws water into the air. An average pool loses 48.6 gallons per square foot each year, and topping up raises the calcium.

  • Monsoon dust storms

High winds push heavy dirt into the water during July and August. We empty clogged pump baskets during our routine service.

  • Salt cell scaling

Calcium sticks to the metal plates inside salt generators. We inspect the cell every three months, billing separately for cleaning when needed.
