Call us when you seeThese common spa problems
Schedule a diagnostic visit if you notice any of these signs of equipment failure.
Not heating
The water stays cold, which can point to a failed heating element, a broken gas valve or a bad temperature sensor.
Weak jets
Low water pressure from the jets can be a clogged filter, a blocked pump impeller or an air lock in the plumbing.
Cloudy water
Murky water can be a sanitizer level that has dropped too low or a filter cartridge that needs to be deep cleaned.
Circulation problems
When the water stops moving, the issue can be a failed circulation pump or a valve that is stuck closed.
Error codes
Codes flashing on the topside panel can point to a system fault that requires testing the control board or sensors.
Control failures
Unresponsive buttons or a blank display can point to a failed topside control or control board.
Unusual noise
A loud grinding or screeching sound from the equipment area can be failing motor bearings in the pump.
Water loss
A dropping water level can point to a leak at the equipment pad or a failing pump seal.
Our process toDrain, clean and refill
We recommend draining and refilling a hot tub every three to four months under normal use.
Turn the power off
We turn the power off at the breaker before draining the spa.
Drain to the sewer
We pump the old water into your home's sanitary sewer clean-out to comply with local water rules.
Shell cleaning
We wipe down the interior acrylic shell and clean the underside of the spa cover.
Filter care
We rinse the filter cartridge or recommend a replacement if it is older than 12 to 18 months.
Refill and balance
We refill the tub with fresh water, bleed air from the lines and balance the startup chemistry.
Choose from ourSpa service plans
We maintain both built-in pool spas and standalone hot tubs.
Attached spas
If your spa shares water and equipment with your pool, we include it on our Full Care Plus plan. We clean the spa, test the shared water and check the valves during your weekly pool visit.
Detached hot tubs
We offer weekly service for standalone hot tubs with their own water systems. We provide a custom quote after we take a look at your spa’s size and equipment.
Turnovers forVacation rental spas
We provide scheduled water testing and cleaning for vacation rental properties. Our technicians check the sanitizer levels and balance the water between guest stays.
Kingfisher is registered with the Southern Nevada Health District as a pool company, and we keep chemical logs when a property needs them.

What owners say aboutOur spa service
James R.
Our hot tub heater stopped working in December right before we had family visiting. The technician found a bad sensor in the heating element, explained the cost of the repair upfront, and replaced the part to have the water warm again.

Kingfisher drains and cleans our detached hot tub every four months. They route the old water to the sewer clean-out to follow the city rules, wipe down the acrylic shell, and balance the fresh water so we do not have to mess with the chemicals ourselves.
Sample reviewDavid L.
We added our attached spa to the weekly Full Care Plus pool plan. Luis tests the shared water chemistry, checks the spa jets and valves every week, and sends a visit report with photos and chemical readings to our email when he finishes his route.
