Incorporated in 1946, North Las Vegas relies on city utilities for its municipal water. Like the rest of the valley, this supply is very hard at 280 ppm. We monitor your water balance carefully to manage the calcium scale at the tile line and in heaters.

High summer temperatures cause severe evaporation. A typical 470 square foot pool can lose up to 22,842 gallons a year. Topping up with hard water raises the calcium over time, so our weekly testing tracks your chemistry.

The city issues permits for new residential pool construction. Under Southern Nevada rules, single-family pools permitted after September 1, 2022 are limited to 600 square feet of combined surface area.

    North Las Vegas water contains 280 ppm total hardness. This leaves calcium scale at the tile line, in heaters and on salt cells.

  • Evaporation and minerals

    Evaporation takes 48.6 gallons per square foot each year. Adding makeup water raises the calcium concentration over time.

  • Blowing dust and dirt

    The July and August monsoon winds push heavy dirt into the yard. We offer separate storm cleanups when debris is heavy.

  • Scaling in salt cells

    Calcium leaves scale on salt cells. We inspect the cell every three months on salt pools; cleaning is billed separately when scale is found.

Do you serve the Aliante master plan?

Yes, we clean and repair pools throughout Aliante and the surrounding neighborhoods. We set up access with your gate codes and keep the gates latched when we leave. Customers secure dogs before the service day.

How do you handle freezing nights?

The valley sees about ten freezing nights a year, mostly in December and January. We check freeze protection sensors each November so the pump runs when temperatures drop.

Can you repair my pool in Boulder City?

We offer equipment repairs, leak diagnostics and green pool cleanups in Boulder City. Regular weekly maintenance is based on current route availability.
