How we updated thisSummerlin equipment pad

This sample illustrates a planned equipment upgrade to address repeated failures and improve circulation.

  1. The problem

    The problem

A ten-year-old single-speed pump and an undersized sand filter were struggling to keep the pool clean. The motor was loud, and the property owner was tired of frequent small repairs.

  2. What we did

    What we did

We explained the repair costs versus replacement and provided a written proposal. Our technicians installed a new Pentair variable-speed pump and a larger cartridge filter.

  3. The result

    The result

The new pump meets the US DOE efficiency standard for new pool filter pumps in place since July 19, 2021. Kingfisher registered the equipment, and the installation labor carries a one-year warranty.

More about thisEquipment upgrade

We recommend replacement only when age, parts availability or repeated failures make a repair poor value. For this homeowner, a new setup made more sense than replacing another motor.

We register the equipment we install to activate the manufacturer’s parts warranty. Kingfisher also backs the installation labor with a one-year warranty.
